The Tree House is set to impress both new and returning guests. This one-of-a-kind cabin comes complete with spa, kitchenette, Queen bed, fireplace and floor to ceiling windows to provide an amazing and unique Blue Mountains experience.

Wollemi Wilderness Retreat
Set across a stunning 600 acres of private Blue Mountains Wilderness along Bells Line of Road, our secluded mountain cabins offer premium self-contained accommodation for couples, families, creative workshops and corporate groups. Six dwellings make up the retreat which encompass two propertys near the northern Blue Mountains communities of Bilpin and Mt. Tomah. Our wilderness accommodation ranges from an exotic Tee Pee studio, traditional timber slab cabins right through to deluxe sandstone and timber bush houses. Dwellings are architectually unique and feature their own special design features for an individual feel. Our accommodation utilises eco-friendly waste management systems to preserve the surrounding natural environment.

History of the Area
Back in the 1800s when explorers from the Sydney Colony were venturing west, they were confronted by what seemed like an impenetrable barrier of thick mountainous bushland – The Blue Mountains. From various points in Sydney you can glimpse the ridge-line of the Blue Mountains, and these distinct shapes have etched themselves into the minds of all those who have looked towards them with wonder. What is so special about the Blue Mountains World Heritage area is that it has hardly changed since the times of early explorers and Aborigines before them. Thankfully in today’s busy world this environment still exists - so pristine yet so close to the city. Bells Line of Road is the alternate route over the Blue Mountains and is by far the most scenic. Wollemi Wilderness Retreat welcomes you to come and visit to experience this very unique world of the Bilpin – Mt. Tomah region, where the stresses of modern life are left far-far behind.
