Skyriverhaven Treehouse on the Skykomish in Gold Bar, Washington

Just off Highway 2 in the small settlement of Green Water Meadows, Barb's Skyriverhaven offers a beautiful experience of the Pacific Northwest. Enter through the wisteria and clematis archway to find a sturdy stairway leading up to Barb's little tree house yurt settled 12 ft up in 3 Douglas Fir trees. For even more complete privacy, you could climb the ladder from your little porch up another 13 feet to the Eagle Nest Box, (4'x6'x8') push up the trap door and climb in for a gorgeous view and complete privacy for reading, writing, or meditation. A great sleeping place for extra young people. Wi Fi and electricity for your convenience.

Other Things to Note
Skyriverhaven is family friendly. Barb has welcomed families with children willing to sleep in sleeping bags on the floor of the tree house. Also, teen agers have slept in sleeping bags in the Eagle Nest Box. Also there is a small guest room with a single bed in Barb's cabin, right across from the bathroom for a grandparent. There is now also an optional sleeping area in the cabana, an area covered but open on all sides - sort of like glorified camping. : ) Recently Barb has added two great hammocks - one under the tree house, one in the cabana. Fun to nap in, read or just chat. The one under the tree house holds two people.

There are several churches around the area. Also great 12 Step Recovery meetings - one which meets in a 700 lb teepee close by. Barb also offers 12 step counseling (no extra charge) and a counseling process called Focusing (Eugene Gendlin, Univ. of Chicago). $25/session. Barb has a great little Roland Piano for your and her enjoyment. It's digital, so can be played quietly. Musical instruments (guitars, flutes, etc) are welcome.
